Hi,
First, I'm 20 (been for a week by now) and I'm officially a proud Canadian citizen paying my taxes by killing myself with my regular job schedule, except not for the first couple weeks of this month because we are on a lay off. That's the automobile industry in 2022. I'm still not sure about my future due to world tensions and inflation crap, but I have some ideas- the question is IF I'd accomplish them at all, lol.
Second, I did THC months ago and it got me tripping, I do not recommend for anxious people.
Finally, my content is 85% about my comic story, including finished pictures, concept, possible spoilers, and obvious the pages themselves. The rest is just whatever stuff I feel like drawing. It's okay if you're not intrigued, everyone has their own interests.
I just wanted to say since I changed my content things have been brighter for me, I'm a little more satisfied with my work and with my main project not having anything to do with fanbases is a boost. The drawing tablet I bought in February helped a ton with improving my work, big game changer. I'm no longer drawing on a shitty touchscreen of an HP platinum silver.
My comic is the most difficult, but fun thing I had to deal with when changing content. I remember being emotionally attached to the previous one that abandoning it completely just isn't right. Switching my project was weird, when I decided enough was enough it's like I went on a huge brainstorm on what the new project would be. I thought a glacial environment, nuclear setting type would be nice. I'm a fan of post-apocalyptic drama and politics, fictionally speaking.
I re-used a bunch of the concepts I made in the years developing my old project as I didn't want to waste them, and besides, they'd THRIVE in this setting. When civilization has been reduced to zero, there isn't many happy people to look up to but the big faction full of military units and that may provide essentials to ensure one's survival- while as the older project had pre-established factions to which the entire conflict just wouldn't make sense. There's a theme I want to explain, and the setting of my old project just isn't suited for conveying my message.
I liked redesigning Navash because this design has more flavor- He's from a tribe and I'll have to show it through the multiple outfits he wears. No punk clothing, no 24/7 glowing hair and no ugly feminine tank tops. I got to rework his personality and I gotta say it's a bit memorable now. It's much easier to roleplay a silly caveman than the Nevadan God of 100 ways to win a war. He's more masculine with all these action poses he makes unlike before.
There's a ton of other challenges I have to deal with in this project, but I'd ramble for too long if I explained them.
...
God the work can be so tedious.
So yeah, that's all I wanted to say.
Take care now people!
